Hi again!

Got the camshaft out, now I noticed I got another fuel pump drive on the cams....

What pump do I need for the  bottom camshaft? ( The oldest I think?)

This is a guess -

It may be a sump scavenger pump drive for a dry sump a series

don't think it's a fuel pump drive - as it would have to be rotary

post 7 down ...

http://www.pistonhea...0&t=668193&nmt=

the only other thing I can think of is an vacuum pump for a servo or pto ?

could also be the Diesel (ripped from wiki)

diesel version of the 948 cc A-Series engine (producing 16 hp (12 kW) at 2,500 rpm and 38 lb·ft (52 N·m) torque at 1,750 rpm) was produced for the BMC Mini Tractor. It was developed with the help of Ricardo Consulting Engineers. This engine has dry liners. The block is almost identical to the petrol engine. the oil pump has been removed from the camshaft and is driven by an extension to what would have been the distributor drive. A petrol version of this modified engine was 'reverse-engineered' for use in the Mini Tractor whilst retaining parts commonality with the diesel variant, rather than using a standard petrol A-Series unit. The diesel A-Series was also sold as a marine engine under the BMC name alongside the diesel B-Series engines.

if the dizzi drive was for an oil pump - then maybe the fuel pump drive - was for the diesel pump ?

Hmmm.. So my only option would be an electric pump?

The camshaft is an AEG-643 so the old BMC 544

grtz And thanks in advance!
