Hello well I have finally bought a mini. I have wanted one since I was three. Can remember seeing my 1st one. I bought it Friday and it's an 85 Mayfair. Can't wait to take it out and about at mini events :).

(By the way, if your mini's on an "A" plate, wouldn't that make it an 83, model as opposed to an 85 model? :unsure: )

Welcome to the forum - regarding the stage one, do a few searches on TMF, you'll be able to find the knowledge and experience regarding them.

You're right, the plate brings up a 1983 Mini City E...
