As titled, which breakdown cover companies would you recommend for my mini?

I've been quoted £116 for recovery to home with Green Flag!!

Obviously it will be more cause of a older car, but surely I can get it cheaper than that?

Thanks all

We insure with Footman James and they include recovery in the policy. That's continental as well

Like greenwheels I have it with FJ and I also have the RAC. I've never really had a problem with the RAC other than them trying to sell me things at the side of the road. When they start that pish I just tell them to hook it up and deliver it to my home. Twice they have tried that trick now.

Check your bank account. You might be able to get breakdown cover with that!

Im with rac, not been, not had perfect service with them but i still chose them to renew. When or if you buy it ask if they can do a better deal because they can! They will offer 15 months for the price of 12. I have roadside and recovery and i think it was around £80 for this year(+3 months).

if you get personal cover it won't matter what car your in and you will be covered and wont make any difference to the cost.

When checking with green flag, it's £116 for car cover or £148 for personal use?

Because I'm under 20, finding cheap insurance and car cover is difficult!

The RAC are good, but ignore the roadside sales pitch and if you get roadside/recovery you have to be more than 1/4 mile away from home before they will come out.

I got the above cover for 12 months for £80.00 which includes you in any other car / van even if you are a passenger, your age should not matter.

I am with Autoaid. £38 a year and covers me for any car I happen to be in. It includes all the bells and whistles you normally have to pay more for, cost of onward travel for everyone in the car, cost of hotel if necessary etc.

Briliant value, and excellent service the one time I had to call them out.
