Yes I saw it when it was just listed..... I'm not sure what to think.... I thought you couldn't pass a mot with an engine in the back or something like that.... As the guy a v dub in Warrington had a twin engined golf and he had problems I'm sure

i love metros, infact i prefer them to minis these days (oooo the controvercy!) but the money you could sell two turbo engines for would pay for pretty much any bigger engine (c20xe, hondavtec, k-series vvc, bike engine) you could care to fit and would also give funds towards materials to fit it, get it hooked up and running.

 

not to mention it would be much faster, and more reliable, getting it through an sva or whatever would be easier with one engine, etc etc

 

a few years ago when quite a few people were trying the twin A series engine thing it never really worked for anyone, and now they have gone back to single engines. carl austin of force racing was one who tried twin engines and since changed back.

 

however, credit to whoever started that build, i just dont think i would have gone that way in the search for more speed.
