One thing we have is A) A phone number for tech support, B) 2 year warranty, and finally C) our own rolling road and tuning facility if you really get stuck :)

You can use TPS or MAP for load or just run in 2D mode without, as many do for ease of use :)

Got that, but when you have to start for a race in 1 hour it's kinda impossible to fix the problem in time ;)

Well, I imagine if you were racing you'd have spares with you.  Just like people take a spare coil/points/condenser.

A LOT of race cars run ECUs, they seem to get on OK with them!

Dusky... trust the reliability of solid state coil drivers.... How many 20 year old cars are driving around fine on their original ecus... yes mechanical stuff goes wrong, but rarely the ECU...

I trust their reliability, I just want to say that it is way easier to fix normal electronic ignions instead of these fully mapped ones... Never saw a mini here in belgium apart of ours using fully electronic mapped ignition ;)

The answer is in the answer lol :)

Easier to 'FIX' :: Not an issue when they rarely go wrong :)

Understand your point though :)

Why not look at the specialist components kit?

I run their 5 port injection.. I must say it's perfectly flawless! Gives immediate power delivery even at 2k rpm with a 286 cam..

And the best bit it hardly uses any fuel lol

I also used to run megajolt.. And would recommend it but it is a basic system..

If you've removed a functioning dizzy there's nothing to stop you refitting it. You could even leave it in place.

While we're on the subject, always remove the dizzy drive gear if you run without the dizzy.
