Hi would any one be able to tell me if 10 inch mini lite alloys would go on a car with the 8.4 inch discs if I used 29mm spacers to bring them out I know standard 10 inch steels wont go on, but again with spacers maybe????   Thanks

I wouldn't recommend it but I'm sure they would then fit on the out side of the brakes.

You're better off just getting the 12" to 10" kit mate

If you use big enough spacers so that the wheels effectively site next to the brakes, it'd work. It would be unsafe, but it'd work.

I think some Wellers have a big enough offset so that they do this anyway.

I am thinking of doing this too, [Sorry for the hijack]

I'm running 13" Alloys at the moment but ultimately would like some Reverse steelies with decent tyres to replace them. [Hopefully before the snow]

Would I be able to get these to fit over my standard 1991 Mayfair brakes? 8.4"

Cheers

No being funny, but they make the 12" to 10" kit for a reason

Those spacers are positively unsafe. Not only do they put huge loads on the wheel studs and wheel bearings, but they alter the steering geometry/scrub radius in a very adverse way.
