Evening all
I’m trying to tidy up my wiring a bit and have come to the inline fuse department in the engine bay. A year ago they were all replaced with blade fuses due to an apparent failing of the original holders causing problems. I have now situated them all in a collective holder which tidy’s it all up but I’m not convinced every fuse should be 15A as the guy who originally swapped them from glass to blade put 15A fuses in all, I wouldn’t know if they were right or wrong. So the wiring i have worked out so far?
Purlpe Wire - 15A fuse - Brown wire. Auxiliary cooling fan circuit?
Purple/orange wire - 15A fuse - Brown wire. Indicator/hazard lights?
Brown/orange wire - 15A fuse - Brown wire. Brake test switch (although I’m not convinced as Haynes Manuel is a bit confusing!!)
Blue/orange wire - 15A fuse - Blue wire. Fog light circuit?
Red/white wire - 15A fuse - Red wire. Can’t find which one this is? Dash maybe?
Brown/slate wire - 15A fuse - Brown/slate wire. I believe this is the fuel pump one?
White wire - 15A fuse - White wire. Seems to control the purge valve via the ecu or something, also linked to the fuel pump
Thats the layout i have them arranged in. If any of them are wrong or you know what fuse should be in them then please cough up .
Oh and its a 94spi
Many thanks, phil
