Hi guys, fitted a drop bracket to my mpi a few months ago, did it properly by rotating rack etc but the steering wheel starting to have a slight vibration. Lived with it until today and the drone it makes is annoying. When you apply pressure to the outter column, the noise stops. It's like the outter column is vibrating against something (inner??) it's an airbag model, airbag has been removed. Anybody any ideas how to stop this droning? Thanks

It's possible the upper and lower nylon bushes/ sleeves are worn inside the column.

The upper will be like this but you need to either ring them or see if you can find out what the difference is between airbag and non airbag versions

Yeah u bolts are super tight! As it the clamp at bottom of the column. I can live with it for a while, but come winter time here, I'll look into it. Just thought I'd see if anyone had a quick fix.
