Mine doesn't :)They will both extend the column between 2 and 3 inches towards the driver.

No, but then your steering wheel is held on with an rclip. I know which id rather fit.

Whats wrong with the R clip?
Is it even made of steel? I wouldnt fancy having an accident with my steering wheel only being attached by a relatively small r clip! Each to their own.

It is a normal steel R clip, it will only fail if massive amounts of force was applied on the steering wheel towards my face, I don't see that is ever going to happen and if I'm in a crash that serious, I don't see much chance of survival. I carried out extensive testing (sitting in the seat and pulling hard on the wheel and the R clip flexed minimally and sprung back to where it was) and have come to a conclusive decision that the R clip securing method is safeIs it even made of steel?
