[Ministage2]

I have a 1991 mini neon and the sunroof, after a bit of rain, would trickle into my passengers lap much to my amusement every time i went round a left hand bend,

 

I sealed it with bathroom sealant and thought that would nail it, however, now, it absolutely wazzes through both sides.

 

how the hell can that even be happenning?

 

how do i seal this bloody thing up like a haunted basement??

Fun when it happens - once!

 

As a quick fix  pop the glass out  - a good clean and a generous bead of hermetite non setting gasket goo worked for me for a fair while...

 

Got a replacement seal in the end though - came form a land rover specialist - think early discovery's (could be wrong on the model here) had the same roof fitted.... it was rover remember.... always reuse every last component wherever possible
