New Suspension Cones Causing Positive Camber?

Best Answer Mini 360 , 14 January 2014 - 08:03 PM

As the car settles the car will lower gradually.  Lower you go, the more negative camber you get.

Hi all,

just a quick one, my car is finally back on the ground with new rubber suspension cone's, new upper arm pivot shafts, new alloy trumpets and new knuckle joints at the front.  I expected it to sitting very high until the cones can settle but at the moment the wheels seem a bit 'off', that is that the base of the wheels appear to be pointing into the middle of the car more that the top, (positive camber if I'm not mistaken).

Is this just a side effect of the brand new suspension that will remedy itself as the weight of the car settles the cones, or should I be more concerned? :L

If anyone else has done this job and had the same thing happen it would be great to know!

Cheers :)

As the car drops the wheels will start to have less camber, yes
