As the title states, Im having trouble removing this. Goes on the outside of the door.

Im guessing that its help on by a rivet or similar?

Held on by clips inside the bright channel. Put something on to protect the paint and lever against - thin plastic is ideal, insert a flat screwdriver under the bottom edge and then then give a gentle turn, pry upwards. Go gently....

like above a flat screwdriver underneath it, then prise it up but don't lift it at one end to get it off as it will crease fairly easy, so lift it off up at the same increments.
