Hi Guys.

it's been awhile since I was on here or attended any mini meeting.

lots of stuff happening in my life since...

anyhow, My Mini was broken into about 2 years ago just after Christmas. (LINK TO MY STORY)

they tried to steal it and did lots of damage to the drivers door lock, boot, steering column / ignition, rear window... and so on.

the engine is a 1275cc Metro engine with a straight cut gearbox. (wants taking apart, fixing / new parts and putting back)

body work needs repairing on the damage that was done, few other things needed doing but can discuss that.

When they realised they couldn't drive it away (I could have told them that) they took what was good in it and left it.

LUCKILY I still own the car and its safe atm, I have moved house since and waiting to get it in my garage.

I've been busy working since and trying to save up again so I can get it back on the road, I would love... to be able to get it back running and on the road for my wedding in August this year.

ideally I would like to find a mini specialist or garage who will repair the body work and rebuild the engine near me.

I did a few mini meets with the East Coast Mini Club but not been in touch since.

happy to spend the cash, but only with the right people.

I have a few people I know that would help but I don't have the time to fix it myself or get friends too as I travel the globe with my photography.

I really would like to get it back to how it was when I bought it (with a few changes).

so is there any people that could point me to someone that might help?

I live in Peterborough, Cambs.

thanks

Cezare

The top Mini body expert in this area is Alan who is in Chatteris. He can also sort the engine.

PM me for his number.

Woodbridge classic cars in Hacheston, Suffolk are great and know everything there is to know about a mini
