I'm currently running standard 8.4" discs which have seen better days, so am considering a switch in setup. I could go the obvious 8.4" 4 Pot route, however in the future may want to go to 10s so, people's views please, Cooper 'S' Conversion or 7.9" 4 Pots? Car is used for fast road and hoping to do some road rallying in the future.

All thoughts greatly appreciated!

7½" gives a far wider wheel choice, and stops the car perfectly well.

Why not just put new pistons and seals, a good set of the standard brakes are more than adequate for a Mini. A set of Green Stuff pads would help too!

Thanks for the replies, did think about rebuilding the callipers but would rather replace them I think. Anyone have a preference over cooper 's' set up against four pots?
