Hi

Have problem with wipers,when I put my wipers on everythings ok but when I switch off they don't return to the start they just stop where there at !!!!!.any ideas

The park switch is probably broken.

At least you cam get them to stop at the bottom.

Up till 1968 there "may" not have been a parking switch, at least it is not shown on the Somerford web site, and I know that my ancient van, around 1962, did not have one, so had to be parked manually like many cheap cars of that era. Otherwise, I agree that the parking switch is broken, a common occurrence, but check also for a live feed on the parking feed, light green-orange at the motor. It is fed from the same fuse as the feed of same colour to the wiper switch but the wire may have become broken or detached.
