hi guys,
car: 1993 spi, carb converted.
my top fuse keeps blowing after i passed an arctic rig on the motorway (in severe rain), the indicators worked for around 5 miles... then no indicators
hazards work as they should,
i have no indicators, brake lights, rear screen demist or anything else powered off the top fuse..
we changed the top fuse, along with both relays(rh yellow one(nearest wiper motor and the one under dash)
cleaned the earths on both front indicator units along with drying them out...
it worked until about half an hour ago....
my dad had stripped my L/H rear brakes down for a clean up(it was binding)
then i decided i'd best take the car a run for a few miles to allow the wheel and brake shoes to settle...
whilst out on the run i noticed i had no indicators or rear screen demist
i have since checked the wiring and checked the front indicators for water ingress.. all is good
so my question to you all is... why does it keep blowing the top fuse(standard 4 fuse box
i will try everything... excluding setting it on fire lol
