So much is shared between the Mini and Spridgets I thought I'd sign up as some of you probably know the answers to many on my inane questions!

My engine is 1310cc (40 thou overbore) and will be fitted with a 12G940 A+ head. Only difference is mine is a Midget engine destined for my A35. This is a long term project (car will be 60 in 2018 so would like to have it running and completed by then) and there is a lot of work as it's been garaged for over 35 years!

Upgrades to brakes (disc, server, hydraulic rears .. A35 had mechanic rears) and higher ratio diff and uprated halfshafts. Suspension upgrade as well. Conversion to negative earth inc alternator, etc.

the engine needs bits .. pistons, studs, and external pieces and this is where the inane questions will probably come in ..

So, as they say in the Boy Scouts, "Be prepared" ...

Quick correction: it's actually 1330cc with a 60 thou overbore. Trying to work out what pistons I need I measured bores and they are 72.1mm diameter.

HIF44 ordered with inlet so that's fueling sorted.
