So this is how it goes my wife has a corsa and she say to me it's crap it has now power and it will not got over 3500 rpm or it struggles to go anything over 70 mph
I said don't be daft your just not driving it right lol
I took it to work a couple of times and found she was right it crap and as soon as you get the revs to 3000rpm as your driving so I hit the forums to see if any one else had come across this problem with their corsa and the results are out standing

I worn anyone out there do not part with any money to a garage for parts like egr valve, maf sensor, crankcase sensor or manifold pressure sensors this is an absolute waste of time

I have seen people pay hundreds of pounds out and still have the problem.

It's simple to sort if you have some basic engine knowledge and access to a compressor and some sort of high temperature lube

What I did was I knew that the the light flashed on as the turbo span up and got to 3000 rpm so this points to a turbo fault happy days new turbo you all say
Rough price £500 don't do it the turbo is fine
So I had a think then Light bulb. It happen when the turbo is building up pressure but then dies so it's not performing correctly when reaching pressure so is the waste gate opening as it acts like a leak off. I found the it wouldn't move at all so I pulled the diaphragm pipe off at the right side of the turbo and got my air line from the compressor and blew down the pipe and got under the car lubed up the actuator for the waste gate then the other side of the actuator push rod then with loudish click it moved this has solved the problem wife says now it actually got some grunt to it even though it's a corsa hope this helps corsa owners out there in mini land and the wider net keep their hard earned dosh in their pockets without shelling out on expensive unnessary parts
