Riley Elf 1968 MK III

I'm looking at my options. I have not long ago replaced my heater matrix. Unfortunately my fan motor in my original heater has now caught fire. :(

I've looked in NZ for a new motor with luck. So I would have to import one. However I'm tempted to try this as not much more than a new motor.

new heater

I don't use the car much in winter and its more about demister and the fact I need it working for a W.O.F (MOT?)

Done a search and a lot of people are saying to stick with the original. I like the space saving aspect. So would like to hear from anyone that has fitted one off these or if anyone sees an issue. My hope is that the unit would be a straight swap out. Any coments, pros, cons, advice, etc welcome.

Thanks in advance, Karl
