Hey, I have a convertible mini one and haven't been able to open the roof for the past 5 or so months! I have taken it to Trainers and they have quoted £2000 and said the cable on the drivers side has snapped and I need an entire new roof. I have been unable to find a car garage in my area who will look at it to see if it can be repaired! Does anyone have any suggestions, or know how I could fix it?

I'm in desperate need and am looking to sell the car soon and afraid I will not get much for it with the roof as it is!

Please help me!!!
