woohooo cant wait for the weekend so i can paint my engine as i get my block and head back on wednesday and on saturday i get my crank and lightened con rods

nope not saying and if its common i aint having it so thats redtop and VTEC out the window

and anyway it aint 100% yet just dont want to waste money on a charger if i do a bigger project later next year/ begining 2008

its still early days atm so who knows what will happen

no i just get a lot of support off my dad aswell as he is a mad petrol head who also has a mini cooper, VW 1972 camper and a mk1 golf cabby which is half mine

i was only going to bore the engine to 1293 and he is the one who said dont be daft and get a 1380 if your going to do it lmao

Full Race.... not long... about 2000-4000 miles... depends how u drive it...
infact, it may last a few years.... because u won't get insured on it!

my swiftune engine lasted bout 42000 miles b4 it went bang but that was because of oil leak that couldent find till it was t late

awesome project mate, wish i had the funds and the parental support to do what ur doin. Its annoying that high spec engines have such short usage but i spose thats the price you pay. I cant imagine that kinda power tho, given that ive got a 998 and i can wheelspin in 2nd around roundabouts

Typical race engine, between 4000-8000 miles. At 20 years old I was paying 2k on insurance for my race 1425, similar spec to yours. Hope your daddy doesn't mind paying that.
