ive got the exactly same timing gear and rockers to go on my engine :w00t:

i think the sw5 would be a good bet for your engine although i dont have any experiance with super chargers, i had a long conversation with nick swift, when i bought my cam and he basically said that while the sw5 pull from well low, power peak is about 5500 although he said that it will still keep delivering to nearly 7000 which is more than enough revs for the charger!

ta for the info i think im going to give it a long think over will speak to simon at morspeed when i next go as i was going to ask him to refurb my cam but could exchange it for another if i wanted to

dont want to rush into the cam as its the main thing really so dont want to balls it up lol

this was my first read of this project, looking good.

seemed a bit like u didnt know waht u wanted to do..... turbo it / rear engine it / supercharge it.... have you stopped on a decision yet? lol

also i want to see a pic of those 10" wheels when they were redone :X

3) Crank (reground, balanced, wedged and X drilled)

4) Con rods (lightened, stress relive and shotpeened)

5) 286 Kent cam

6) Webber 45

7) Intercooler

8) Oil cooler

9) Sports clutch

10) Lightened and balanced flywheel

11) Vernier adjustable timing chain

12) Block (bored to 1380cc and 20 thou skimmed off top)

13) Mini spares pistons (dished 10cc)

14) 1.5:1 roller tip rockers

15) RC40 exhaust

neither did dog with his project and it hasn't stopped him getting the welder out and having a go

me and my dad have been speaking today and were thinking of getting this mini on the road and putting the 1380 lump in there just to run it in as my bodywork wont be done till ages so once its ran in ill take it out and put it in mine so its all ran in and ready to go :)
