or you can go lsd but i believe a 3.1 diff is the smallest ratio you can easily fit also lsd tend to want to push you in a straight line and pull around roundabouts ect
id be intersested to know who has 140+ hp minis and what diff they have with the changed charactor of the drive?
as there is much speculation on lsd's so ive heard from tuning/engine builder proffesionals
what say you drivers of such ????

thinking of a X pin diff. I was thinking about LSD but herd it isnt to good for handling only good for launching off the lights i want this car mainly for tracks but usuable on the road aswell so want something that will give the best handling
ill sort out your charger kit soon mate by the way ill finish the bodywork first mate lol.

well me and tarks have been working on the mini today got a fair bit done. Heres some pics to show what we have done today.....
how the mini looked before we started work on it...

Well as some of you know im having a custom race fuel tank so we made a frame to hold the fuel tank in the center of the boot

we then started to cut the flooring out underneith once we knew where the frame would sit. The tank will sit partly in the floor and will come up to just under half the height of the boot

boot floor is now out.

we then used the door skin for panels as we needed to make a panel for around the edge of the frame. I have aluminium door skins so no need for the old ones.

We used part of the door skin to put a panel at the back of the frame as you can see. we also welded in a panel to the right of the frame where the gap is but it was dark so no pics.

We also welded in one of the MK1 light plates.

The lights in place.
