ooo im not going to be waiting 4 weeks for my crank to be done now

its going in this friday to be done

just be sure to put plenty of grease on it and wrap it well in cling film when it comes back. what are you having done to it?

thats a cool project, ive only just found the page! sounds like a nice engine spec and i like the way you are going for the light weight idea! just dont get too hooked on carbon fibre like i did lol

you must be well strong i have troble lifting my shell and its completely stripped lol!

well my block and crank went in today to where its being all sorted should be getting it all back next week cant wait. Then buying the pistons and start putting the block together while i save for the straight cut gearbox

my block just after we took it apart last night ready to get bored out

well i got a tad bored today and well i started taking the engine out of the car lol pics coming later

here she is before i started taking it apart will be keeping this engine as a spare incase anything goes wrong with the 1380 beast


jacked it up and got the front wheels off so can get the driveshafts out when i need to


the engine before i started taking it apart......how do people keep there engines so clean and not showing wires everywhere lol


first thing i did was take the carb off.....



then took the inlet off



then took the alternator off


then took the radiator and fan, coil and starter motor out but by this time it was dark so no pics

so not much really left to do to have the engine out then ill be painting the engine bay
