Hi all, was just wondering what modifications would have to take place to use the Australian style door handles on a mk3 door.

well I've not seen it done before, I've seen people ask if Australian Clubman doors can be fitted to UK shells. I guess you could rig up something from the door handle to the existing mechanism in a mk3, not too sure how mk3 door internals work.

If you had a mk1/2 with external door hinges you could fit australian clubman doors, although there are some major modifications required to the B-pillar as the latches are different.

if you want a roundy with those handles, you could always buy an Aussie Mini 'K', which had clubman style door handles on a round nose body. some pics here
