Insurance For A 17 Year Old

Not 17 for a while but restoring my first mini with my dad and was wonering if anyone knew what would be cheaper a modified 998 with better head and cam and stage one or a standard 1275 with maybe a stage one. The car is originally a 998cc

Hi jack, I have a 998cc Rover mini with a stage one and an upgraded head and cam and I love it, I think for the insurance as well you would be better off just sticking with the 998cc because mine was £1400, so not horrendous but not the cheapest I don't think. hope this helps!

Was that £1400 at 17 with the cam and upgraded headHi jack, I have a 998cc Rover mini with a stage one and an upgraded head and cam and I love it, I think for the insurance as well you would be better off just sticking with the 998cc because mine was £1400, so not horrendous but not the cheapest I don't think. hope this helps!

i was 18 using my 998 with stage one kit
and my first year was £2100 (car in secure, locked garage)
2nd year was £900
