Hi

try this

disconnect the thin coil wire that go to the dissy

disconnect the  ht lead that go to the dissy at the dissy end

put finger on the ht lead touch the thin wire to a power source ve+

if you get a shock the problem in in the dissy

Check the top fuse... and startermotor big '+' wire.
You have electricity right?

If you have a multimeter, set it to volts, turn on the ignition and measure for voltage between coil (+) and earth.  If you don't have a multimeter, make a test lamp by connecting two wires to a turn signal lamp (one wire to the lamp base, the other to the tip of the contact tip of the lamp).  As with the meter... one wire on earth the other on coil (+).  If you have power on the coil your test lamp will light or you will measure 12V.

If you have 12V reaching the coil the problem is likely after the coil, probably in the dizzy. You suggest/imply that this is a recent problem and that the engine used to run.  When?  What has been done since it last ran?

Before leaving you to make the voltage tests, you said there is no spark at the points in the dizzy.  Are you sure they are actually opening?

what wire is the one that gives energy to the coil ... is there any wait to check that cable is getting energy ?

I assume you have tried the voltage measurements I described earlier and you have not found any voltage on coil (+).

The ignition system is typically not fused so you will not find an issue there related to coil power.  There are "standard" and "ballast" ignition systems as well as factory and aftermarket electronic ignitions.  That means a few different wiring possibilities.

Standard ignition with points:

White wire to coil (+) coming from the ignition switch.  (Switched power to coil)

White/Black wire between coil (-) and the distributor.

Ballast ignition with points:

White/Yellow wire on coil (+) coming from the starter solenoid.

Pink (pink/white or strange off-color pinkish white) on coil (+) coming from the ignition switch. (Switched power to coil)

White/Black between coil (-) and the distributor.

Aftermarket electronic ignition:

Leaving the distributor:  Red and Black wires.

Black wire to coil (-)

Red wire:  Standard ignition- to coil (+),  Ballast ignition - typically to the fuse box.

In all cases there MAY be a second white/black wire on coil (-) going to a tachometer if fitted.

Others will have to post information on coil wire colors for the factory electronic ignition.

ok found the problem the (+) wire... know the coil is getting power and the dizzy also. but the condenser wire that goes into the coil when i try to start the car and  the wire melted ? what made that happen ?

i think is standart the white wire coming from the igniting goes to the( + )coil and i have the dizzy also connected to the + coil

white/black wire is in the (-)

I'm sorry, I do not understand what you have written.

What wire has melted?  What condenser has a wire that goes into the distributor?  Does your distributor have points or is it an electronic ignition?  If electronic it should not have a condenser at all.  Is this a Lucas distributor or something else?

Pictures will help if you can post some.
