my cars been bitten by my duck a few times although it got its own back when the duck ran underneath and reemerged with an oily head!

if this happened though id not be very happy although giving the dog away seems harsh! Makes me wonder if it was getting very little attention/exersise which sheep dogs need.

Hahah that's classic!  Although fibreglass is nasty stuff when it's been smashed up, hope none of that was swallowed by the dog!

It begs to question why was the dog left alone outside with the Aston in the first place?

When someone says "its for life, not just for Christmas" they meant the dog, not the Aston...maybe the dog was doing him a favour and was trying to tell him to get a proper car! (A mini!)

Wouldn't be surprised if the dog was left alone in the garage with the Aston. Probably didn't get enough attention and I bet Mr Grim gave it a good beating before giving it away.

Like the way he didn't tell new owners about the fact the dog may have consumed something that could make it very ill! Poor Dog!!

i hope the new owners are able to give the dog the attention and care it needs, but does sound like more than a handful for its previous owner

That guy is a dick. End of. I work in a vets and see too many people just give their animals away / put them to sleep for trivial things. Give the dog all the attention it needs and this would never of happened.

Since when have Astons had fibreglass panels?  Carbon, steel and aluminium throughout no?

yes it is/was a db9 and the fiberglass is more correctly a composite! I think the bumpers and possible boot are as well

I don't know either way, but there is no way to know for sure, whether that dog was ignored or beaten afterwards.

I bet most of you would be pissed off a dog ate its way through a freshly restored mini project.

The only way my dog would of been round my car is when I was outside with it. It was clear that this guy left the dog outside for quite some time for it to do that amount of damage.

No. There is quite a lot of fibre glass in Aston Martins. Its not the same as the cheap repair kits you get in halfords that people use for bodging body work though. Its all prepreg cloth and spray fibre. Same technology is used in a lot of modern day lorry cabs too. Nottingham university did a lot of work on designing composite panels for various Aston Martins.

Dog is man's best friend? Yeah right. I would have given the dog away long before owning the Aston Martin. I hate them.
