at the end of the day a radiator is a radiator, as long as there's decent constant water flow and its made properly you cant go far wrong, however on a somewhat standard engine, I believe the stock Rad is more than enough :)

There are a few threads on here if you do a search. But to give my experience, I have had three of the winner racing ones as above in different cars and they have all been great. One was pressure tested back to back against a Radtec at Lola a few years back and happily took double the pressure rated on the cap. I have had no problems and if I need another rad that is what I would go for.

Hi all, I commented on 'chinese alloy rads topic' (worth a look for more views) and I have had one for 3 years now 1340 stage 1.

I made sure I drained down and flushed annually but I have had no problems at all. other than the welding isn't pretty.

The Rad comes with a hole for a bottom plug, which you are supposed to transfer from your old one so i just bought a drain tap from a plumbers merchant. 5/16 BSP I think. Add a hosepipe to the top and instant flush situation.

Also at £65.00 you can always change it again if you have problems. What's £65 nowadays? a meal and a beer?

Happy driving.

That is the one point i would lay down is that the welding is on the think size but that would point to strength :)

Holmsey you need to edit your pictures, there were details on view that you don't want on a forum.
