Which spark plugs should be used in a 1000cc high compression engine? Would you stick with  'BP6E S' plugs?

It currently has 'B8E S' plugs fitted by the owner but have been told that these are the wrong plugs by the person who set it up for us.

The only thing is I dont know what has exactly been done to the engine... If it has uprated cams etc will it still be ok to use the BP6E S plugs?

Thanks

Drive the car and do a plug reading and read the earth electrode as see if its heat path is correct, My 1330 runs 10.2:1 and runs ok on BP6ES

If running a high compression, perhaps run a colder plug to compensate. KernowCooper saying 6'swhicj work well. Try 7's and see what they look like after a good few hundred miles
