I need to change the front drums on my mini. I changed the rear ones with out any issues, but it seems the front ones do not use the same nut.

 

What size socket do I need for the front nuts? It's a 77 with drums at the front.

1" 5/16ths should be what you need.

Hmm IIRC my 32" was too large for it. :/

Drum driveshaft nuts are significantly smaller IIRC? 1 - 1/8th" or 28mm AF I think :)

Mmm just had a look on my BMC manual could not see a size there but its not metric so try 1" 1/16 stupid thing is i have recently converted my drums to discs so should know.
