Hi guys,

Basically coming home from work tonight and every time I braked my radio and indicators would stop working (main beam was unaffected). Parked outside my house tried to start it and all I'm getting is a rapid clicking noise and it won't start.

I'm guessing this could be the battery, solenoid, starter motor or dodgy earth connection. Is there anything else this could be?

Thanks Josh.

You dont mention if yours is a Inertia starter or Pre-Engaged but test is the same for either, just a different setup

Check the battery voltage, may have stopped charging, and the battery is flattened, voltage between13.7-14.3v at 2000rpm then the connections and earths in the boot on the battery - cable and the engine earth. if these prove to be ok then check the feed into the solenoid connections, this should help pinpoint where the fault lies..

Have you checked the charge rate ? always best to so you know its charging fully, lost count of the number of times new batteries have been fitted only for the problem to return in 2/3 days
