So before going down the route i aim to go with my metro, i thought i'd check insurance prices to see if its justifiable.
So after declaring a super charger, uprated brakes, lowered suspension and miscellaneous mods, i was quoted £200 less by adrian flux than what i pay with a standard car...
Doesnt seem right! Haha

There seems little logic to insurance!
Perhaps they think that you will maintain it better?

If it's the right insurer and it's clear that you're an enthusiast then the insurance will go down. As Carlos says, it shows you're willing to maintain it and look after it. If you've spent a load of time and effort building a car you're less likely to go out and wrap it round a tree!
