Anybody else has a wife/GF who doesnt get on with their mini?

So frustrating going for a drive and getting comments about the noise/exhaust fumes (window was open) etc etc

 

I love my Ruby - so tuff

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. My gf has a little difficulty liking the mini. She ale gets fed up with the money that gets spent! If I had my way, I have a lot more but I don't have the space at the moment. When I get a house, a double garage is a must. You can fit three in then. And a daily on the drive!

 

But she likes huge cars, like the X5.

My missus doesn't like the fact I refuse to let her smoke in my clubby

My gf doesn't mind it suprisingly! (It's not on the road yet, so it may be a different story then !) but she's keen to give me a hand working on it if i find her something to do then she's there happy to do it ! can't wait until its on the road!!

my wife and kids love the mini, sometimes she gets jealous about the time i spend tinkering and fixing, but she loves going out in the mini

My Mrs swore blind she wouldn't get in the Mini when I first brought it but she has soon come around

Whenever my missus complains about my Mini, I politely go :)

I am Lucky jean loves the cabriolet, that's why we got it really for her, I have a 65 MG Midget that I have just serviced and took for a test drive, because jean likes minis that much (she has a BMW Cooper as her daily driver) that tomorrow we are going to look at a 99 Cooper with the view to selling the Midget. Then we can take a classic out all year round, don't really like taking (Ruby) the cabriolet out in bad weather.

I introduced my bf to minis and he loves them now, but not quite as much as me :)
He does whine about old cars though.... he hates going in my mgb but he doesnt get a choice!
I will always have classic cars <3 I have no desire to get a 'modern' car

My wife likes the minis so I bought her a spi cooper
