Hello there.

I'm new to the restoration game and my first project is a 1979 Austin Morris Mini Special 1100.

After standing under a car port for years the water channels around the roof have rusted through in quite a few places.

How would/could I repair these and if the channels need to be made up how much roughly would it cost?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

:)

Well, if you are handy with the MIG welder, and reasonably proficient at shaping sheet metal, at least in small pieces, or are prepared to practice and learn, you could not do better than reading Scott's project, where around page 11 he gets started on the gutters:

I suggest reading his entire thread and using it as your textbook. Aim for the same standard and you will not go far wrong.
