Hi all, I have just bought my wife this lovely 1994 Mini British Open and it has a Louis Vuitton interior that looks like it was originally installed. would anyone out there know anything about a limited edition with trim like this? We are English but live in Vicenza, Italy so the car would have been for the European market and is left hand drive. Thanks.

Dont think its original. Someone probably just changed inserts and left the leather.

thanks for your feedback on the interior trim. If it is aftermarket it has been very professionally done. To me it looks factory. Either way i am trying to get them restored to a better condition still with the Louis Vuitton monograms....my wife would kill me if I changed it!

I dont think the door pocket looks very factory done, seems like it has an unfunished edge. The seats certainly look professional

So let me guess, the wife said "Will you buy me a new handbag?" and after a couple of glasses of vino, you go "hang on luv, I've got a great idea!"

I think it looks great, but I might have to hides those pics before the other half comes home  O_O

A guided tour of a Louis Vuitton Mini Open, careful it gets quite technical, especially when discussing the window opening devices.

Hi all, thanks for the input, especially the video from Elvis! i was trying to read the plate on the car because it looks lke it is from Italy and there is the possibility it could actually be our car.... the only difference I noticed was that the door pockets were better finished (but that could have come off over the last couple of years). This also makes me think this must have been an option, maybe only for the European market. Either way, the car looks great and I have some serious "get out of jail free" points with the Mrs!

oopps, I think iit actually is our car! I looked on youtube and the girl in the video is from Vicenza, which is where we live and from where we bought the car! We will try and get in touch with her to try and trace back about the interior and will let you know!
