want to change the color of these .....do I buy calliper paint@ £10.99 a tin or just high temperature paint @ £ 7.99 ?

Neither.
Hammerite is actually the best paint I have used on any callipers I have painted (it also comes in the perfect red), that includes high performance race cars.
It's all down to the preparation, if you just spray paint over your dirty/brake dusty callipers, no paint will stick. Clean them throughly and sand them before you paint.
I await replies of everyone who has painted them in Hammerite and it has melted off...

If you use "normal" paint and your calipers (for some reason) leak, the brake fluid will eat away the paint, this happened to me when I tried painting the calipers of my mk1 Fiesta with "Motip Autolack", this probably doesn't happen when you use caliper paint ...
HarrysMini, have you tested this ^ with Hammerite?
