I haven't seen it on TV yet either. Mind you, for the MG3 ad, I had to look up the times so that I could watch it - a bit sad really and slightly missed the point!
I hope you don't mind me posting the MG3 ad. I like it and apparently if was made on a very small budget, so I think they did well

would be great if it stopped before those horrid BMWs appeared!
And the MG advert! Oh god poor MG, who would have thought that wonderful badge would be on such awful awful cars...

I guess you're living in the dark ages or would like to!
Personally, I'm really interested in the MG3 as potentially it could be my next daily, when my current one dies. The reviews have been reasonable and they're cheap, which really appeals to me for a daily runaround. They're welcomed by both MG clubs (possibly for financial reasons, but I don't mind) and I quite like the idea of my daily being part of a club along with my classics.
My big bone of contention with the MG3, well all current Longbridge 'built' (used in the loosest of terms) MGs is that they come in as painted and partly assembled bodies to Longbridge. I really want my MG to be painted at Longbridge, but that appears unlikely in the coming years

Yes it's cheap, but I think it really shows. It is (IMO) quite an ugly car. One was parked in the shopping centre in Croydon recently (a sales thing) and the interior seemed like a Kia from 10 years ago.
I can't imagine any real MG owner wanting to park next to it.. :/
Having said that, I drive a C-max day to day, perhaps the dullest car ever made so while I have an opinion, it doesn't reflect good taste in my own choices!
I admire your commitment to the brand, but I think it's lost it's mojo...
Get an Aygo!

Well, my current daily is my late mother-in-law's 2002 Vauxhall Agila (bright blue, to add insult to injury) so really anything is an improvement on that! As much as I find the Agila painful in many ways. sadly it meets my basic requirements of getting from A to B sometimes with my father (Agilas are easy to get in and out of) and his two Labradors, so I can't justify getting rid of it and paying for another daily

My Cmax was bought because my aging boxer dog needs the room. Ideally I would have liked something smaller. Love the DS3. The things we do for our dogs *sigh*
