Went to try and adjust my rear brakes this morning and the nut is completely seized! I've got the right size square spanner, used some plus gas on the damn thing but to no result....slightly worried I'm gonna graunch the thing. Any ideas?

Penetrating oil, from both sides! So its drum off, shoes out!

If that fails then Halfords do a brilliant spray called shock and unlock, its a combination of penetrating oil and a freezing action. It 'cracks' the rust. When you get it moving it will be worth taking some time to get it going freely and then use a little copper slip on the threads.
