it'll quieten things down in the cockpit a little bit. It's a personal thing really. Oh, and if you managed to get it off in one piece it's a miracle!

i dont have it in my car, and my cousin does. theres no real difference in noise level between the two. it does look a hell of a lot neater without it though.

Mine went in the bin. Barely any louder - always have window open and tunes on anyway!
Plus I no longer have a big sponge trapping moisture under the scuttle...

Exactly i have to say mine went straight in the bin too and my bulkhead is bare. however my mate has insulated his with stuff called flexifoil to insulate. It looks like foil basically the kinda stuff u see on ye old space shuttles! Its not really designed for cars and you can get it from B & Q but its looks well funky!...especially if uve got a chrome rocker cover and all that. Just cut to size and fit in. I noticed a few cars at the L 2 B show had it as well. Thing is it actually has made the cockpit noticeably quieter than mine! however i like the noise! hence why i havent done it

i ripped mine out recently......i now know of one large part of my car with no rust. bit dirty around the edges needs a bit of a clean but looks so much better without that damn foam.
