Hi I need to remove a locating dowel from where the gearbox meets the flywheel case. The fly wheel case and the gearbox I'm replacing with both have one in the same location.
Can anyone recommend a solution?

Just pull it out, they are only a push fit in. Use some penetrating oil and grab it with mole grips, twist and pull.
