I will soon replace my headlights to halogen as there are more effective.
Can someone please post a picture with a halogen setup, in open lights, just to see the colour of the light coming out..
Next question : i also have a Wipac 2x spot and 2x dtiving lights..
Is there any chance to change the bulbs to halogen on this wipac kit ? And not the silly "yellow" lights Has anybody done it ?
Because if i upgrade my headlight to halogen my Wipac kit, will be at standard "yellow" lighting ..
Thank you... Panayiotis

Best halogen headlights are Cibie, but Wipac are not bad and a huge improvement over the original sealed beam units.
The bulbs on your Wipac driving lights should be halogen. If they are yellow it may be because the lenses are made from tallow glass. With yellow lights you do lose around 20%, so changing for white will make a good difference.
Rather than use 4 Wipac spot/driving lights you would get a better result by fitting a pair of Cibie Oscar driving lights with 100 watt halogen bulbs.

After discovering recently that I have Wipac Halogen headlight units rather than sealed units I've just ordered a pair of Osram Night Breaker Unlimited bulbs....apparently they're quite good.

I'll do some before/after pics for you when they turn up - I'm also planning to measure the light output too for comparison purposes.
