I have a few dizzy drive from a few engines iv had over the last few years how can I tell what's ones what for my 1.3 block a+

Think it's the cam that's the issue though I believe the shaft is also thinner on A+

I have it in my head that the helix angles differ, though might be making that up. There's also potential for differences in length, since the dizzy themselves differ.

a series dizzy shaft will not work with an a+ dizzy

As far as I am aware, all pre-A+ distributor shafts are identical and all A+ shafts are identical. The two variants are not inter-changeable. The helix angles are the same as all camshafts are inter-changeable. and only oil pumps differ in drive shaft length between blocks.

Yep, you need the right drive spindle for the dizzy, which Ned's to be the right one for the block.

Yeah the dizzy iv got is for a + so I just need to know what an a+ spindle looks like
