Im thinking of selling my mini as i am wanting to buy a diesel, but it is automatic, not everyone wants an automatic but it can be changed to a manual quite easily, its done low mileage, question is, is it worth as much as a manual because it is less desireable but it is a lot rarer to see an auto as oppose to a manual?

Autos are generally less desirable, yes. Obviously then you're trying to sell to a reduced market. This will ultimately either mean you'll sell at a lower price, or need to wait a lot longer to find the right buyer.
