As per title.
Is there any chemical that easily shifts the build up of carbon and general engine cack on cylinder heads and pistons?
Not afraid of elbow grease, but figured there must be an easier (....I mean more technical) way?

I used an industrial steam cleaner on mine
of course not available to everyone but it certainly did the job!

A guy at work sprayed it with WD40 and left it overnight, in the morning he rinsed it and it came up spotless. I wouldn't have believed it unless I'd seen it with my own eyes!

I have used Swafega Jizer and a stiff brush (washing up brush or similar) spray on Jizer, work in, then use a steam cleaner
Best technique I have found is the a-series steam cleaner. Head gasket went on one cyl and it ended up leaking coolant into that cyl, when I took the head off it was unbelievably clean on that one cyl! perfectly spotless!
