Ok so i got rid of the underseal off the boot  floor and there are a few bits that need chopping out and the spare wheel well is badly pitted should I just replace the entire floor as it has already been repaired a few times.

If replacing the entire floor is within your skill and experience (I guess it is, as you are considering it), I would suggest that it is the best way to go. You will already be aware that you may find that at least a few other bits need replacing too, as is usually the case with rust repairs on any car. You are obviously aware of the rear valance and subframe mount stiffners etc, and will be having a close look at the wheel arches, body sides, closing panels, etc. All I am saying is, don't be too disappointed if more than you would like needs to be replaced. Doing it right will add value to the car.

Personally, I hate patching large panels due to the amount of work involved, and prefer complete replacement, so I may be prejudiced slightly. I am quite sure that some very competent people on this forum would take the opposite view. It depends on how we all like to spend out time, as compared to money. If you put a sensible value on your time, replacing complete panels will almost always win, but if you consider your time to be free, patching may win, if you don;t need to use too much gas and other consumables.

i have already done the inner sill, closing panels, jacking point, door step, outer sill and quarter bottom on the drivers side, in the process of doing the same on the passengers side but waiting on parts thats why i took the boot floor back to bare rust today.  thing i'm just gonna do it better in the long run.

I would replace it, its a patchwork quilt and it will bug you if you leave it. Its held in with spot welds, a lot of them and a bit of seam welding on the seat belt mounts.

You will spend a day drilling them out and a day to fit it.

yeah i think i will just do it.  better to do it once and do it right rather than have to do it again in a year or two.

is any bracing required in the boot?  or will the firewall be ok

The only bit of bracing i did was to tie in the shock mounts to the rear panel but to be honest if nothing else is taken out other than the floor and the car is level then you should be fine.
