Brake Servo Removal

hi hope i posted in the right part i am thinking of removing my brake servo its had later brakes and later sevo installed few years back by last owner all came from 94 mini i belive but i now want to remove brake servo and install vertical brake master cylinder my brakes are cooper s 7.5 just want to know what i need to get before i start cheers for any help .

New brake pedal and spring, ideally a new master cylinder baseplate, and some plumbing. Do you know if the rear cylinders were changed when it was fitted?

as far as i know everything was changed to modern (94) brake system so what items do i need to replace to remove moden servo cheers

When you say vertical master cylinder do you mean the original tin can Cooper S type?

 

If you are fitting one of these then you will likely also need the pressure limiting valve for the rear brake circuit.

Hi 

why would you want to go backwards in the braking department

do you want to leave a bigger gap

between you and the car in front ?
