Didnt see that mentioned in the last mini mag, Keith Calver has done an article on all the bits that need changing to beef it up for the extra stress the 13'chers cause....

This will do most of the job along with this to get the ride height correct. Budget in another £50-100 to get the geometry correctly aligned once fitted.
(by the way, many will say don't go for the alloy cones, go for proper hilos as the ride will be better. Is it worth the extra cash though......? )

If you are getting new shocks at the same time - (a lot of people say that the extra upsprung (unsprung - can never remeber the right term?????) weight of the 13s and the bigger tyres necessitates uprated shocks).
I bought KYB gas adjust (£26 each). Minispares do a kit for four shocks and genuine Hilos for around £145. Well worth considering if you are uprating the shocks - as you get genuine Hilos for effectivly £40ish.

the shock thing above also brings in questions on how far you go. Do you poly bush things, replace knuckle joints, go for uprated donuts etc etc. Suspension can be a never ending saga! I should know!

Yeah it can be difficult to draw the line - I did the lot on my last one which was on 13s. This time round I've gone for 10s and just the gas adjust shocks and Hilos.
I personally think at least some gas shocks are a good idea - the standard ones are a bit shoddy at the best of time without all that extra weight to control.
