Hi there,

I have an 1989 Austin mini 30 (limited edition) and i've been having trouble with the left indicator. The hazards work fine, also the right indicator works fine but the left indicator does not work at all. Does anyone have an idea what the problem would be? Is it the stalk?

Cheers

Angus

Could be the stalk or wiring

Is it both left indicators or just one? Could be an earth fault

If all the lights work when the hazards are running the. It's not the hazard switch. It points to the stalk but could be a wire fault between the stalk and hazard switch plug. Do you have a meter to test with?

It is the left indicator, front left, rear left, wing and arrow dash light for the left indicator do not come on at all but the right one is fine

Well I've cleaned all the earths and still no left indicator. No power is getting to the light. Does this point to the stalk?

It turned out to be a broken connection at the fusebox, replaced the connection and it has never been better!! Cleaning all the earths certainly helped though
