on a 1993 carb with spi loom where is the regulator. its not on the instrument pack, that was upto 1991, but i cant find it, only in wiring diagrams.

Look at your instruments.  If they are Nippon Seiki (as opposed to Smiths) the voltage stabilizer is built into either the fuel or temperature gauge (I cannot remember which).  As such, the Nippon Seiki stabilizer cannot be replaced.

Look at your instruments.  If they are Nippon Seiki (as opposed to Smiths) the voltage stabilizer is built into either the fuel or temperature gauge (I cannot remember which).  As such, the Nippon Seiki stabilizer cannot be replaced.

i found it and swapped the gauges over. iv now got a oil pressure light but the battery light doesnt work properly and still no indicators, wipers or dash lights lol
